13.1

So anyone who knows me well knows that I'm not known for my athletic prowess.... Never have been. Growing up I could kick some serious butt when it came to reading a classic novel or playing trivial pursuit, but winning a race or an athletic event not so much. So when I announced to the family that I was training for a half marathon, I got some interesting looks to say the least. I have to admit, I even surprised myself with this one folks!!! My girls and I (pictured below) trained hard and were dedicated every step of the way. It was all about accountability!!! It's not saying much (I know), but I am in the best shape of my life at the ripe age of 33 and am planning on running my next 1/2 marathon in March!

Felt so good to cross the finish line with my girls!!!

Trey's 6th Birthday

Trey's 6th Birthday was on a Friday this year. On the way home from school I told him we could eat where ever he wanted that night. He chose FastLanes! After a few phone calls the four of us, Papa, Ranjo, Lindsay, Reese, Eli, Corbin and Laurel headed to FastLanes. We ordered the Ginormous Pizza and ate it all, bowled and played a few games. A fun time was had by all. HAPPY 6TH BIRTHDAY TREY BUG MARVIN!!!

Fall 2011

Fall started off with a bang! Trey started kindergarten and Anna started the 2nd grade. Trey was totally pumped to go to school with his big sis. He is in Mrs. Cherry's class just like Anna was (Mrs. Cherry doesn't spoil him at all--HA!!) Anna Claire is in Mrs. Adam's class with all of her kindergarted besties! Second grade is all about girl power! Here are some pics.

Labor Day weekend means Square dancing in the Marvin house. This was Trey's 3rd year! His partner is still his buddy Charlee! Sooo cute!!

In September Papa Joe had a Birthday. Anna Claire helped celebrate by making this nifty t-shirt! She LOVES her papa!

Anna Claire and her besties participated in her first Cheer Clinic this fall. It was hosted by the Southwest Cheerleaders (her mama's Jr High alma matter). They had so much fun!!

We had a busy Halloween this year between school carnivals, trunk or treat at church and actual Halloween night. Reese and Eli came over to go door to door while Michael, Ranjo, Lindsay and I followed behind and cracked up all night long!!!! This will have to be a tradition!!!

A flamingo if you were wondering (Thanks Pita!!!)

The happiest Green Lantern I have ever seen!!

Superheros Unite!

On the morning of November 4th I was awakened at 4 am to be informed that Jessica was in Labor! So Mom, Dad and I loaded up and headed to Mississippi for the big arrival!!

Rhett Law Harriman

This year the kiddos have started having neighborhood friends. The kids 1 house down go to school with Anna and Trey and they have soo much fun together!!! One gameday Michael took some pics.

For Thanksgiving we all loaded up and headed to Mississippi so that everyone could meet Rhett. A good time was had by all!

We decided that since the cousins would all be together we should have a group picture. Easier said than done with a 7 year old, 5 year old, 2 four year olds, a 2 year old and a 3 week old!! HA!

So Sweet
