Happy Birthday Anna Claire!!!

In 14 minutes it will be Anna Claire's sixth birthday. At this time six years ago I still had 8 more hours to go, but after a long, long labor and c-section our baby girl arrived. She was definitely worth the trouble. I can't believe she has been with us for 6 years. Anna Claire is such a blessing. She is smart and beautiful in every way. Trey could not ask for a better big sister. We hope that you have a great day today sweet girl. Mommy and Daddy love you very much.

You already look smart in this picture

Daddy was so proud

This is my favorite picture of you
(Those are Grandma Harriman's hands-she loved you so much!)

Nothing's sweeter than a sleeping baby

Outdoor Fun

Last night we decided to get out for some exercise after watching "Losing it with Jillian." After a short lived family jog, the kids wanted to go for a bike ride. Here are the pics.

Swim Ranch 2010

It's that time of year again. Swimming Lessons!!!! I had one child who was ready to go (Anna) and one child who was terrified (Trey). Overall it went quite well (no panic attacks). Pretty sure the Certificates they are holding are for "participation" not necessarily for "completion." Trey does seem much more comfortable in the water now overall and Anna said her teacher told her she would be in Lane 4 next year (my little overachiever). When we were leaving today Anna asked if she could do another week of lessons. We'll be back again next year, hopefully with an additional swimmer!!!

Natural's Game

On Sunday we went to the Natural's game. It was a special night. A boy who comes to the clinic and whose mother works with me threw out the first pitch of the night. Anna Claire's school choir sang the National Anthem. Many people from work and Anna's school were there and my clinic had the "Party Deck" reserved (which is directly behind home plate). The kids had snow cones and cotton candy and met Strike (I have pictures, but can't seem to get them to rotate). Here are the ones I have.

(pretty sure it was a strike)

I think we will be going again soon!

Dance Recital

Last Friday night was Anna Claire's tap dance recital. It was at Springdale Performing Art center this year. She loves the stage and I have to say the stage loves her!!! Her besties Kayleigh Jo and Annie were in her class all year. Hannah came over before the recital to doll the girl up. Aunt Jessie and Mary Ella came up to watch. It was a really good time.

ADOPTION UPDATE

As of Friday we are officially "Gladney Approved." What does this mean, you ask? This means that we have successfully completed all of the paperwork required by our adoption agency. We now are waiting on a very important appointment (CIS fingerprint appointment) so that our Dossier (international paperwork) can be completed. What is comes down to is that we are one step closer to getting our baby boy and that we are pretty much done with the paperwork part of the adoption. WOO HOO!!!!

Memorial Day Weekend

We started Memorial Weekend off with Michael's birthday on Friday. He woke up to cinnamon rolls (his favorite). That night we had a party and ended up at the neighborhood pool! Happy Birthday Michael!!!

Birthday Boy

On Saturday we headed to Carrie and Gary's house for lunch and fun at the pool. We ate good food and had a great time!! Pita, Poppa, Nana, Misty and Briley were there too. (Too bad I forgot my Camera).

On Monday we headed to the lake with Gigi, Papa, and Ranjo. We had a great boat ride! The kids enjoyed working on their fishing skills. (We only lost 1 fishing rod in the water and Papa Joe got hooked with no major injury). Can't wait to go again!!!

Anna's ready to go!!

Monday night we went to Wade and Claire's house for some good barbeque and fun with friends. Once again I forgot my camera. I have a lot to learn about being a blogger!! It was a great weekend.
