Six Months

I know I haven't mentioned much about our adoption lately, but we are just waiting patiently. Today we have been on the waitlist for six months!!! Things seem to be moving slowly in the adoption world right now, but I believe we will get the baby God wants us to have when God is ready for us to get him. The 6 month mark does make it seem more real to us. Michael mentioned the other day that we probably need to get on to our last 2 hours of education soon. I also find myself praying more often for our child, his mother and caregivers. For his safety, health and overall well-being. I am slowly letting myself imagine meeting him and having a new member of the family! Hopefully some news will come sooner than later and I can post again (don't hold your breath people)!

More Snow Pics!!!!

The kids and Michael had fun playing in the snow yesterday afternoon! We are planning to go sledding today. Hopefully it gets a bit warmer.... it has warmed up to -5 from -17 so far this morning. These Arkansas winters are starting to get to me. Brad asked yesterday if I was ready to move to Mississippi! The snow really was beautiful and this will be a winter to remember for years to come. Final measurement by the mailbox was 25 inches!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy the pictures.

An Old Lady and a New Baby

Today was Anna Claire's 100th day of school. They had all kinds of fun activities and in honor of this special day the first graders dressed up like they were 100 years old. Look at this cute granny!!! Anna loves any excuse to dress up!

My good friend Becky had her baby girl today and she is precious!!!
Welcome baby Ella!

Baby it's Cold Outside!!!

We had another snow day today. The weather report called for 1/2-1inch of sleet followed by 4-10 inches of snow. Michael went out and bought a generator yesterday so we wouldn't end up in the same position as we were in 2 years ago. Luckily, we never lost power, but it sure is cold. That doesn't seem to matter to the kids. They played in the backyard this morning and went sledding this afternoon (even Anna who vowed she would NEVER sled again after last years collision with the parked car). We should stay snowed in again tomorrow since the high is supposed to be 14. Here are some snow pics!!

Random Holiday Pics

Here are some holiday pics in no particular order. We had a fun Christmas! Lots of good times at many locations with tons of family. Christmas is especially fun with all of the kid-os. Next year if all goes well we will have our new addition to celebrate with. We can hardly wait!
