Fun Day at the Park with Gracie Girl (March 6, 2012)

Today was all about having fun! We visited People's Park which is the largest park in Nanchang. We had so much fun. It was a much slower pace and people were very friendly and liked to try to talk to us. The park is a big hang out spot for the retired crowd! They like to play badminton, do yoga, tai chi, and practice their baddest Mr. Miagi moves (wax on, wax off). Michael jumped in on a game of badminton and got schooled by an older Chinese woman. We tried out some of the exercise equipment (see below), fed the fishies, and let Gracie girl run around. She was a social butterfly again today! Helen then took us to a Chinese restaurant and helped us order. It was really good and CHEAP!! Forget the hotel food. She wrote the names of the dishes we liked in Chinese so we could go back for dinner sometime!
